Like all Titax products, these rims are tested in the most competitive championships on the planet.

IAMT has chosen TITAX as the official wheels for the MOTO GP and MOTO 2 projects!

TITAX multi-step rims have a manufacturing process that starts from a single solid piece of high-quality aerospace aluminum.

High-pressure forging (30 thousand tons) is then used to further improve the structure.

This high-pressure forging is the only way to create a stronger, stiffer finished product.

The forged blanks are then machined on computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling machines to ensure that the bearing surfaces etc. are perfect.

For the rear wheel we start with a 25kg piece of forged aluminium, for the front 15kg.

When the whole process is finished the weight of the rear wheel (17*5.5) is 4.6kg (fully equipped Moto2 Type 1.01) and the front wheel is only 2.75kg (fully equipped Moto2 Type 1.01)!!

Overall gives more than 3.8 - 7.2 kg weight saving compared to OEM rims

Load weight for static wheels is 295 kg on the front rim, 375 kg on the rear rim.
