Exhaust muffler KAWASAKI NINJA 500 / Z500 2024-25 Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-K5SO1-HRT

This is a newly developed titanium muffler with a debossed finish for increased strength and durability. A 32% weight saving (1.3 kg) over the stock system, a deep sound, throttle response, and aesthetics were all aspects the engineers focused on during the development process. It is constructed with a high-quality titanium outer sleeve and finished with a carbon fiber end cap, a high-quality stainless steel link pipe, the muffler's internal structure, and a heat shield. Compared to a stock exhaust, a power increase of 0.3 kW (0.4 hp) at 8,750 rpm and a torque increase of 0.3 Nm at 5,000 rpm has been recorded, as tested on the Akrapovic test bench. The plug-and-play installation requires no remapping. It complies with the EC/ECE approval certificate - Euro5+, the new regulation starting from 2024. The previous regulation, Euro5, was valid until 31 December 2023.

For a further upgrade to the Slip-On Line (Titanium), a carbon fiber heat shield and header pipe are available as options for riders seeking even greater power increases and race-like tone. Installation of the header pipe invalidates the EC/ECE homologation of the Slip-On Line (Titanium).
