This updated design utilizes race-proven materials in the system's construction, featuring a high-quality, lightweight titanium link pipe, a titanium internal muffler structure, and a new style end cap. This is combined with a carbon fiber outer muffler sleeve, resulting in an exhaust that is 23% lighter than the standard stock version. A rich, rich sound is emitted when the car is idling, delivering a deep, rich tone with a distinctive Akrapovic character when underway.

The Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Carbon) exhaust upgrade is available through a combination of two optional header options—titanium and stainless steel—which are available with an optional noise reduction insert for those who want to combine the system with headers. This EC/ECE-approved and Euro5-compliant product features a simple plug-and-play installation process, with no remapping required.

Installation of the available optional manifolds invalidates the EC/ECE type approval certificate.
