Race-proven materials and a sporty design have resulted in an exhaust that is the perfect introduction to the exhaust tuning process. The carbon fiber muffler outer sleeve and end cap are elegantly shaped for visual impact, and the use of lightweight titanium for the link pipe and internal structure means this system weighs 3.5 kg less than stock, for an impressive 62.4% saving. This exhaust was developed for use on closed race circuits, and delivers track-level performance to match. Power is increased by 3.6 kW (4.9 hp) at 13,000 rpm and torque by 4.5 Nm at 7,600 rpm when compared in back-to-back tests on the Akrapovic dyno with an Aprilia RSV4 with a stock exhaust. To match performance and style, the Slip-On Line (Carbon) system serves up a deep, crisp sound, full of Akrapovic character, to fully encapsulate the Aprilia engine.

For optimal performance, throttle response and durability, remapping is recommended.
