Replacing the exhaust system has a significant impact on the bike's overall appearance, as well as its weight and performance. It weighs 1.7 kg less (a 29.2% weight saving) than the stock system, producing a power increase of 1.1 kW (1.5 hp) at 5,300 rpm and a torque increase of +1.9 Nm at 5,300 rpm when tested on Akrapovic's in-house dyno compared to a Z650RS with the stock exhaust.
