Frame sliders Honda Hornet 600 '07-'13 CBF600N/S CBF1000/ST

Shock absorbing frame sliders, designed and manufactured so that in the event of a fall the impact is absorbed by the slider rather than being transmitted directly to the frame.

In the event of a fall, the slider is pushed towards a calibrated bushing with an increasing diameter, causing an ever-increasing deformation of the slider which thus absorbs the energy of the impact.

Both laboratory tests and practical experience have shown a significant reduction in stresses transmitted to the frame compared to common non-damped buffers.

The slider is made of a special plastic material reinforced with glass fibers that combines high impact absorption and abrasion resistance with low friction with the asphalt. This allows the pad to slide over the asphalt without excessive wear or causing dangerous jamming.

The particular aerodynamic shape of the slider not only gives the bike a more aggressive look, but above all it minimizes the possibility of the pad catching on some obstacle.

The sliders also feature a graduated scale that will indicate the intensity of the impact in the event of a fall.

The main body is made entirely from solid aeronautical grade aluminium bars, diameters and sections are calibrated to further reduce the stress placed on the frame in the event of a fall.
